As part of Dedication Weekend, guests are invited to experience one of Bok Tower Gardens’ rarest traditions—Crossing the Moat. From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., step through the historic wrought-iron Yellin Gates and walk across the moat for an up-close view of the Great Brass Door and the intricate artistry of the Singing Tower.
This exclusive opportunity is offered only a few times each year, making it a meaningful way to honor the legacy of Edward W. Bok and the dedication of the Gardens on February 1, 1929. Crossing the Moat provides a powerful connection to history, artistry, and the timeless vision that continues to inspire visitors nearly a century later.
