Daily Admission

Bok Tower Gardens is open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with last admission at 5:00 p.m. The Gardens will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Visitor Center, Blue Palmetto Cafe, and Shop at Bok are open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Adult general admission is $20, Children $10 (ages 6-17), children 5 and under are free, Dogs are $10.

General admission tickets do not include a tour of El Retiro. Keep scrolling down to upgrade your experience to include a tour of this historic mansion by purchasing combo admission. Combo admission is $30 for adults, $15 for children (ages 6-17), and children 5 and under are free.  

Reciprocal admission for participating gardens and cultural institutions will be offered. For your convenience, general admission tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the Entrance Gate or in advance with online ticketing link below. All special event and educational program tickets (with the exception of Brunch in the Gardens) include general admission for the day.

Tickets include:
Single-day admission to select Garden areas and the 3.5-mile Pine Ridge Preserve hiking trail. Access to Garden areas is subject to change without notice.

El Retiro Admission

Admission to El Retiro is $10 per adult ($5 children ages 6-17, children 5 and under are free) and general admission to Bok Tower Gardens is required. Admission for Bok Tower Gardens members is $7.

Day after Thanksgiving – April 30:
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Tuesday through Sunday

May 1 – Thanksgiving:
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Tuesday through Sunday

Combo Admission includes admission to El Retiro and general admission to Bok Tower Gardens.


Tickets for admission, programs and special events are non-refundable. Seating is available on a first–come, first-served, self-seating basis. Outside food, drinks, coolers and chairs are welcome for picnicking and outdoor events.


Active duty military with proper I.D., including Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Reserve members, receive free Gardens general admission every day of the year, with up to four additional friends and family members admitted at half-price. Retired military are admitted at regular price, but are admitted free of charge on the following holidays: Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Armed Forces Day.


Membership to the Gardens supports our mission and provides you with admission benefits and more. You can also apply the daily admission fee towards a membership. Membership can be purchased ONLINE.

Bok Tower Gardens is recognized as an ‘Autism Friendly’ business by the Center For Autism & Related Disabilities (CARD) at the University of South Florida. We have collaborated with CARD to provide tools for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other sensory processing or cognitive impairments in order to make your visit special and enjoyable. The Bok Tower Gardens Social Experience Guide is a picture book-style guide, which walks visitors through the Garden and what they might experience, provided at The Front Desk in the Visitor Center.

The Front Desk in the Visitor Center also has a Sensory Kit which includes noise cancelling headphones, crayons, paper, and fidgets. See host for check out on a first come, first served basis.

Mobility carts are available for rent from The Shop at Bok for $10 hr/$30 half day/$60 full day. A limited number of wheelchairs are also available upon request. To reserve a mobility cart or wheelchair, inquire at The Shop at Bok upon arrival.
