Weekly Yoga Classes in the Gardens
Join instructor Tracy Wynter each Tuesday January 10 - April 25, 2017 for an all level series of 60-minutes Yoga classes in the gardens. Classes begins with a brief centering and evolve into a flow of movement and meditation. Comfortable outdoor dress recommended. Bring your own exercise mat and personal medical emergency supplies.
Tracy Wynter's style of hatha yoga is a combination of poses that develop strength and flexibility while creating a sense of inner peace and calm from an awareness of the breath.
Physically, many of us lead sedentary lifestyles where due to our profession and other situations, we’re moving less and less. Mentally, many of us contend with internal chaos as our mind jumps from here to there in this increasingly technologically connected world that is full of multitasking and endless to-do lists. Yoga allows for gentle movements of the body and a slowing down of the mind, which allows us to check in with ourselves and rejuvenate.
