Goals and Responsibilities

What is the Amaryllis Club at Bok Tower Gardens?

The Amaryllis Club is dedicated to upholding the mission and preserving the heritage of Bok Tower Gardens through projects and support.

What does the Amaryllis Club do for Bok Tower Gardens?

Activities of club members are geared toward supporting key initiatives mutually agreed upon by Bok Tower Gardens staff and the Amaryllis Club. The club seeks to connect the people we serve to projects and activities at Bok Tower Gardens, personalize the way people engage with these projects, and cultivate long-term relationships of people and projects within the Gardens

How do I join the Amaryllis Club?

You must be a current member of Bok Tower Gardens. The Amaryllis Club membership is renewed annually in the spring of each year by completing a registration form. Each Amaryllis Club member is asked to participate in some way to achieve the project goals set forth at the beginning of each year. You can donate your time, talents or monetary gift.

Amaryllis Club Projects

Started in 2014, the club took on the project of decorating the living room and porches for the 20th Anniversary Holiday Home Tour and updated the decorations throughout the house to bring them into line with the vintage flavor of Pinewood Estate. Each year, the Club will be takes on an additional project.

Where love comes naturally

Imagine a secluded garden where beauty and serenity combine to provide the perfect setting for your wedding day. The sun streams through a canopy of trees to illuminate lush plants and delicate blooms. The gentle sound of the wind carries the songs of many birds as the enchanting sounds of 60 carillon bells resonate throughout the gardens.

Bok Tower Gardens invites you to celebrate your wedding day and reception in a truly natural setting. The splendor of nature provides an exquisite backdrop for your wedding, making memories that last forever.

The 205-foot marble and coquina Singing Tower is the focal point of the National Historic Landmark dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1929. The architectural treasure has tile mosaics, sculptures, carvings and custom iron-work. Acres of ferns, palms, oaks and pines fashion a lush backdrop of flowering foliage and the spectacular seasonal color of azaleas, camellias and magnolias showcase an ever-changing work of art.
