Edward W. Bok believed in giving back and wanted to create a place that celebrated nature as a gift for the public. Ninety years later, his message is our mission, “make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you have lived in it.” You can help make Bok Tower Gardens more beautiful by supporting programs such as:
- field trips and educational programming
- native habitat and rare plant conservation
- historic preservation and rich cultural experiences and more…

Leave a Legacy: the Edward W. Bok Society
In 1922, Edward W. Bok set out to create “a place of quiet and repose for the electrically-driven people of America.” Upon his death, in 1930, Mr. Bok left a portion of his estate to help preserve his legacy. Through the Edward W. Bok Society, we invite you to share in his vision and join him in making a charitable provision in your estate plan for Bok Tower Gardens. Your estate gift can help secure the Gardens’ financial future for generations to come while lessening your tax burden and maintaining control of your assets during your lifetime.
From charitable remainder trusts to simply listing Bok Tower Gardens as a beneficiary of your will, retirement account, or an insurance policy, there are many ways to structure your gift to meet your needs.
