Magic of the Holidays Festival with The Nutcracker

Come dressed in your holiday fairy best, as Bok Tower Gardens presents a holiday fantasy extravaganza for fairies, fauns, elves, and gnomes of all ages!

Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus as they enjoy a weekend of relaxation in the Gardens before the big day arrives. Atop Iron Mountain, be astounded by the mesmerizing aerial acrobatics of fairies and elves as they dance upon the air. Meet Freddie Gnome-sted at El Retiro, and participate in a lively gnome hunt. Visit the Outdoor Kitchen for photos with the Christmas Cookie Baker and enjoy a sweet treat. Ignite your holiday spirit with a stroll through the Gardens and be delighted by a host of holiday characters.

The Musical Hammers Band will be playing live on the cafe terrace from 1:30 p.m – 3:00 p.m.
The band consists of Hammered Dulcimer musicians playing and singing tunes, accompanied at times by Guitar, Penny Whistle, Mandolin, Banjo and Psaltery and even a Box Drum.
Full of enthusiasm and talent, their repertoire includes: Appalachian fiddle tunes, Waltzes, Holiday tunes, Calypso rhythms, Hymns, Celtic Jigs & Hornpipes, Classical selections, & Patriotic marches.

The Nutcracker Live at the Singing Tower will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Geert D’hollander playing selections from the Nutcracker on the Carillon while local dance troupes will be performing ballet at the base of the Tower.

Ticket price includes general admission to the Gardens. Tickets are available for purchase at boktower.org, in person at the Visitor Center or by phone at 863-734-1222. All programs and classes promptly begin at stated time and visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins for check-in. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the class start time. Culinary events are demonstration based and late arrivals may not be accommodated. For classes held after 5 pm, the entrance gate will stay open for an additional 30 minutes after the start time. Once the gate closes, late arrivals will not be admitted. Due to the nature of culinary events held at the Outdoor Kitchen, Bok Tower Garden may attempt, but cannot guarantee, to accommodate food allergies. Dogs are not permitted at any educational program.
