Bok Tower Gardens and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens are pleased to announce that the 2017 Rare Plant Task Force meeting is being coordinated by Bok Tower Gardens, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens, and Marie Selby Botanic Gardens, and will be held on April 6th – 7th, 2017 at Marie Selby Botanic Garden in Sarasota. April 6th will consist of presentations on this year’s meeting theme of “Non-traditional Partnerships in Rare Plant Conservation,” followed by half-day field trip options on April 7th to local native habitats.

The annual Rare Plant Task Force is a state-wide meeting to bring together Conservation professionals from a variety of disciplines and agencies to share approaches and findings, forge new partnerships and discuss rare plant conservation priorities. This annual meeting is made possible by grants from the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry.
