Douglas David has painted his way across the country, capturing the beauty of the things he loves – country landscapes, sunrises and sunsets, his favorite beaches, a pitcher of spring lilacs or peonies, a lemon, lime or slice of watermelon on a checkered tablecloth. He strives to produce paintings that reflect comfort, warmth and simplicity. A recipient of many regional and national awards and honors, David teaches to share his journey. He paints exclusively in oils – landscapes, seascapes, floral and still lifes, exploring scenes in different times of year.
