Virtual Event: Wild Bees in Our Garden

Things To Know

Bees are a diverse and fascinating group of insects, with approximately 20,000 species worldwide and 4,000 species in North America. They are very important pollinators for both crop and wild plants. In this Zoom class, Dr. Rachel Mallinger will describe the diversity, biology, and behavior of native wild bees in Florida, their contributions to plant pollination, threats to their populations, and ways that we can work together to conserve them.
