The good news keeps growing as Bok Tower Gardens enhances the signature fall plant sale with the debut of ROOTSTOCK featuring dozens of plant vendors, local musical artists, healthy cuisine and a spectacular display of seasonal foliage. This festival marks the start of Florida’s gardening season, and admission is FREE both days.

Admission is FREE… only $5 parking

Nearly 40 VENDORS from across the state will offer a variety of plants for sale including orchids, palms, tropical fruits, Florida natives, ferns, bamboo, roses, heliconias, bromeliads, tillandsia air plants, lilies and many more. Garden art, bird feeders, stained glass, pottery, wind chimes, lawn ornaments and other garden accessories are also available.

Florida Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions and will present several learning areas including vermiculture (worm farming) and container gardening. Special food demonstrations will also be held in the Outdoor Kitchen showcasing fabulous fall produce from the Edible Garden. Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden will also feature nature play guides and additional family fun activities. Visitors will also discover “Pumpkins at Pinewood” as the historic estate is decked out in splendid autumn colors and the lush finery of fall.

This free community festival has grown to become one of Central Florida’s favorite fall celebrations, with live entertainment, tree climbing, family activities, a vineyard area serving signature wines, craft and seasonal beers, fresh food and more. The Visitor Center, Blue Palmetto Café, and Tower & Garden Gift Shop will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pinewood Estate will offer self-guided tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $5. Parking inside Bok Tower Gardens grounds is $5 per car, satellite parking is free.

Members of the Gardens get a sneak peek and opportunity to purchase plants Friday, October 14 from 5 to 7 p.m.
