Rootstock is back and better than ever with great food, spectacular vendors and live music to make this the best event to date! Free admission, $10 parking per vehicle. (Please note: The $10 parking fee can be applied towards the purchase of a membership.)

ROOTSTOCK Plant & Garden Festival returns to Bok Tower Gardens Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival features dozens of plant vendors with hundreds of plants for sale, amazing musicians, healthy cuisine and a spectacular display of seasonal foliage. Admission is free and parking is $10 per car, members park free.

Over 40 VENDORS from across the state will offer a variety of plants for sale including: orchids, plumeria, palms, herbs, tropical fruits, Florida natives, bonsai, aquatic and bog plants, ferns, bamboo, roses, heliconias, bromeliads, tillandsia air plants, and many more. Garden art, bird feeders, stained glass, pottery, wind chimes, lawn ornaments and other garden accessories are also available.

FRESH AND LOCAL FESTIVAL FOOD OPTIONS
The Gardens’ Blue Palmetto Café will prepare a fresh menu of garden-to-table favorites. Oasis Catering will also offer additional food vendors with a variety of menu options.

NATURE TOURS LED BY HORTICULTURE TEAM
Our Horticulture team is adding some extra fun for Rootstock with nature tours.
Tours will depart on the hour at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. Tours will last approximately 30-45 minutes.
Tours will begin at the entrance to the outdoor kitchen. Signs will be provided to mark the starting point. Tours will go through the Wild Garden, its surrounding areas, and the start of the Pine Ridge Reserve Trail.

ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS
Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden will provide additional family fun with nature play guides, crafts, interactive displays, live animal displays and nature exploration.

Please Note:

Ticket price includes general admission to the Gardens. Tickets are available for purchase at www.boktower.org, in person at the Visitor Center or by phone at 863-734-1222. All programs and classes promptly begin at stated time and visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins for check-in. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the class start time. Culinary events are demonstration based and late arrivals may not be accommodated. For classes held after 5pm, the entrance gate will stay open for an additional 30 minutes after the start time. Once the gate closes, late arrivals will not be admitted. Due to the nature of culinary events held at the Outdoor Kitchen, Bok Tower Garden may attempt, but cannot guarantee, to accommodate food allergies. Dogs are not permitted at any ticketed event.
