Power Foods for a Healthy Brain

Things To Know

The myths and misunderstandings of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia can be overwhelming. Research shows how a plant-based diet and lifestyle modifications can be beneficial to the brain, and may prevent memory loss and improve cognitive function. A decline in brain health is not an inevitable part of aging. But how we eat and live can help us protect our memory and stay sharp into old age. Learn how a plant-based diet helps protect brain health. Identify foods such as berries, nuts, seeds, leafy greens, herbs, spices and whole grains that are especially beneficial. Lace up your sneakers and participate in activities that will enhance memory and improve brain function. Join an interactive cooking demonstration and learn the best ways to prepare health-promoting meals that protect your brain and cognitive function.
