Meet the Florida Wax Artists Virtual Event

Things To Know

Encaustic is an ancient painting process that utilizes molten beeswax, damar resin, and pigments. The Egyptians and Greeks used this medium to paint murals, funeral portraits, and ships. Encaustic today is used in a more contemporary way through paintings, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Want to learn more? Join Florida Wax artists for a virtual meet and greet. They will also be demonstrating the variety of ways they work with this amazing medium!
