Join h.e.a.r.t. Agricultural Manager Josh Jamison to learn about growing, propagating, and using highly nutritious and versatile crops selected from subtropical locations around the world. We will cover perennial plants ranging from Cassava, Yams, Chaya, Moringa, Katuk, Papaya, Longevity Spinach, Cranberry Hibiscus, Chayote, and many more. If you are interested in producing the finest food all year long then this class is a must! This class is 2 hours featuring a PowerPoint presentation and a sampling of some of the featured vegetables.


Josh is a 2010 graduate of the h.e.a.r.t. program and was a Garden Intern in 2011. He graduated from Warner University in 2013 with a degree in Biblical Studies. He’s traveled to Haiti on multiple occasions for short term mission trips. Josh likes working at h.e.a.r.t. because it provides him an opportunity to get to know new and diverse people and a place to explore his passion for all things that grow.
