Join us for a side-splitting night of great country music and the best comedy this side of the Mississippi. The concert is a co-production of Lake Wales Arts Council and Bok Tower Gardens.

We have put together a limited menu of items that can be ordered in advance. Please note: advance orders will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. on the day of the show. All advance orders will be ready for pick-up at 5:00 p.m. at the Blue Palmetto Cafe terrace.
The Blue Palmetto Cafe will be open through intermission. To speed service, paninis soups, and Buffalo Chicken wraps will not be available after 4:00 p.m. A concession tent will be located at the Oval Lawn with alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

Know Before You Go
The ticket price includes general admission to the Gardens. All ticket holders will receive a concert wristband at the entrance gate and this wristband must be visible at all times. The Entrance Gate will close at 8:00 p.m. and late arrivals will not be admitted. Purchasing in advance is recommended as the capacity is limited to 600 tickets and the gate will close if the capacity is reached.
Seating and What to Bring
Concerts will be performed on the Oval Lawn and seating will be available on a first-come basis. Ticket holders can begin setting up at 3:00 p.m. Blankets and low lawn chairs are permitted. Face masks must be worn while not seated in the listening area. All parties must remain at least 6 feet apart from one another. Restrooms will be available at the Visitor Center. A mosquito repellent station will be provided; however, you may want to bring your own supplies. Flashlights are also recommended.
What Not to Bring
Outside food & beverage are not permitted. Food and beverage can be purchased onsite. Dogs are also not permitted during the evening concerts.
About the Performer
Gary Mule Deer’s comedy and music have set him apart as one-of-a-kind. He has performed on nearly every major concert stage in the country and made over 360 television appearances, with many on both The Tonight Show and David Letterman. He was one of six comedians, along with Jay Leno, to star on the first HBO Comedy Special, was the comedy host of Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert for four years on NBC, and a series regular on Make Me Laugh. He is currently featured on the DVDs Jeff Foxworthy’s Comedy Classics and The World’s Greatest Stand-up Comedy Collection. Gary is one of the most played comedians on Sirius XM’s Laugh USA.
Gary appears regularly on the Grand Ole Opry. And in a career spanning over five decades, he has shared the stage with more than a hundred music legends. He has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to Royal Albert Hall, and has been part of the Johnny Mathis show as Special Guest since 1994 in major venues across the country.
In addition to his well-known comedy, Gary is a talented singer and musician, performing classic country, including the music of Johnny Cash in his show since the ‘60s. The popularity of Gary Mule Deer’s comedy and his music cuts across all ages and demographics.
