Have you ever wondered where your olive oil comes form? Learn from Dr. Jennifer L. Gillett-Kaufman, Associate Extension Scientist, Entymology and Nematology Department with the University of Florida all about Florida and Italian olive oil with explanations on how olive trees grow, what pests impact production, and how olive oil is produced and evaluated. Olive oil tasting included. Try two unique Italian oils from small farms (I Greppi di Silli and Fattoria di Maiano), oils from the two mills in operation in Florida (Florida Olive Farms and Mill, and Clear Creek Olive Farms), and an oil you can find online and in stores near you (River Run Olive Oil Company)!
