Last Chance: Save Big On Concert Under the Stars Tickets

This Saturday, we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate with an evening of “blue-jazz pop-grass” during our annual springtime Concert Under the Stars. In a setting unlike any other, The Duhks and the Alison Brown Quartet will perform their Grammy-nominated music from a stage set up on the Great Lawn in the shadow of the Singing Tower carillon.

It’s not everyday you can enjoy this type of concert at the Gardens – this is the second year we’ve added diversity into the mix with music spanning several genres including bluegrass, pop and jazz. Now, more than 20 years later, the Concert Under the Stars is more lively than ever with three hours of fresh, new and original music.

What the critics say:

“Banjo music is seldom thought of as ‘mellow’ or, dare we say ‘pretty,’ but Alison Brown makes it so in the jazz-classical-pop-folk-Latin mix of the Alison Brown Quartet. As a true ground-breaker, she’s opening up whole new vistas for an instrument once solely associated with pickin’ n’ grinnin.” – USA Today

“Canada’s premier neo-tradsters romp from world-beat to blues, urban-pop to old-timey, with wild-eyed invention, haunting traditionalism, and spine-rattling groove. Who says the Frozen North can’t sizzle, eh?” – Boston Globe
