We are excited to present The Shop at Bok’s 2021 Limited Edition Signature Ornament. It is said that cardinals appear when lost loved ones are near. Only 75 ornaments were created with marble from The Singing Tower, making this ornament a beautiful addition to your tree and the reminder always to let your spirit soar!
A collaboration between Bok Tower Gardens and Dune, each ornament is a handmade work of art featuring red flower petals and pink marble from The Singing Tower. It is said that cardinals appear when lost loved ones are near, which makes this ornament a great reminder that lost loved ones remain connected with you through infinite love.
Inspired by the bright and cheery cardinals found throughout the Gardens, Dune artisans began the creative collaboration nearly a year ago. The first step was capturing the dynamic of this bird in flight. The crafting of this design in stainless steel gives the cardinal the appearance of soaring to new heights.
Cardinals are known for their vibrant, red feathers. The body of the cardinal is filled with pink marble taken directly from the Singing Tower during a restoration project and mixed with real red flower petals to create a dazzling combination of earth and nature. The ornament is approximately 2″ in diameter and includes a white ribbon for easy hanging.
Each piece includes a felt pouch for gift giving and storage. The first 30 purchasers will receive a FREE Gift – A Dune Snowflake ornament. Ornaments are available for purchase in-store and online. Members will receive a discount.
