A favorite treat of many Indian families, mango lassi is basically a yogurt-based mango milkshake or smoothie. This recipe combines fresh mangos and exotic flavors into a handheld treat.
You can use any type of popsicle mold or use paper cups and popsicle sticks.
Honey, yogurt, and cardamom are classic Indian flavors and offer creaminess, sweetness, and spice.
Mango Lassi Popsicles
- 2½ cups chopped mango (about two large mangoes
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt
- 3 tbsp honey
- ¾ tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ cup water
- Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Transfer mixture to popsicle molds, freeze for 1 hour and then put the popsicle sticks in place.
- Transfer popsicles back into the freezer and freeze until firm, 4-5 hours.
