Camp Bok Recipes: Groovy Green Smoothie

Eating healthy can be a groovy experience when you combine fresh ingredients for a power-packed refreshing smoothie. This recipe uses a few fruit and veggie staples and makes a quick breakfast on the go or an afternoon snack.

Start with bananas. To add some thickness, you can also freeze the bananas before blending.

Frozen grapes take on the role of ice cubes and add some tartness.

Vanilla yogurt provides the creamy notes and adds in a full serving of protein-rich dairy.

Finally, fresh spinach brings plenty of antioxidant action and gives the smoothie a rich green color.

Groovy Green Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen grapes
  • 6 oz vanilla yogurt
  • ½ green apple cored and chopped
  • 1½ cups fresh spinach leaves
  1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve.
