“Beautiful afternoon in the gardens”
Anyone who enjoys being out in nature needs to visit Bok Tower Gardens! During our Florida vacation we wanted to go to some of the less mainstream spots and really enjoyed our afternoon at the gardens. We had lunch on the picnic tables near the garden entrance then strolled along the paths leading to the singing Bok Tower. The area is so serene and peaceful, and there is a museum area with information on the history of the tower that is very interesting. This is definitely a place like no other!

“A must if you’re in the Orlando area.”
I spent four hours visiting today–heaven! It’s the antithesis of Disney World. The Gardens were beautiful, the Tower amazing, the museum was really interesting, and I’d give anything to move into that Pinewood historic home! Even the food at the cafe was delicious. I only wished I lived closer to visit more often.
A Place For Everyone!
Bok Tower Gardens is a place that has something for everyone! Here you can explore the landscaped gardens of Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. and one of Florida’s natural habitats on the Pine Ridge Trail. You can also discover the history of Edward W. Bok and the building of his 205 foot Singing Tower and tour the historic Pinewood Estate mansion to catch a glimpse of the luxurious lifestyle of the 1930s.
Tucked away throughout the Gardens the curious will find secret garden paths, picture rubbing posts as well as three geocache locations!
Children can borrow one of our Discovery Back Packs which is filled with books and activities to enjoy throughout the Gardens or find your way around with our Garden Hunt.
Dining
The Blue Palmetto Café offers are variety of delicious salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps, fruit andspecialty desserts as well as beer and wines. Enjoy your lunch or snack while looking out at the Gardens from the patio or indoors.
Shopping
The Tower & Garden Gift Shop is a great place to find a unique treasure to take home. The Plant Shop also gives you a chance to find a plant to take home for your own garden!
