Bok Tower Gardens offers enjoyment to children and families with several garden features for you to explore at your own pace:

- Children’s garden hunt & map
- Animal rubbing posts
- Discovery backpacks, which include garden books and activities
- Family picnic areas with tables, adjoining the children’s garden with vine-covered arbor tunnel, palm hut lookout, and a giant sandbox
- Secret garden areas
- Nap & reading benches
- Human sundial located in the Endangered Plant Garden showing the time of day from a person’s shadow
