Come to Bok Tower Gardens for outdoor yoga classes Saturday February 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Classes will be taught by certified Kripalu Yoga teacher Eileen Katz, and held in the serenity of the Gardens.
Yoga is an ancient system of self improvement, using the body as a vehicle, leading to greater health, consciousness and general well-being. Kripalu Yoga, a form of Hatha Yoga, is the practice of physical postures combined with conscious breathing, relaxation and meditation.
Bring an exercise mat or blanket and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes. In the case of inclement weather, classes will be held in the Garden Campus Center. There are no make-up days.
Additional classes will be held March 1, 13, 20, 27 and April 3, 10, 17, 24. Each four-week session costs $75 per person, which includes an annual Gardens Membership; or $40 for members. Call 863-676-1408 or e-mail phrestina@boktower.org for reservations.
