Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Bok Tower Gardens is proud to present pre-concert, holiday entertainment featuring Lady and the Bard, an Americana duo known for their blend of folk rock, bluegrass, and jazz with an Irish flavor and gypsy rhythms. Their arrangements are virtuosic and exhilarating, featuring tight vocal harmonies and fiery guitar playing. Their songs range from from classical to modern, from intimate to rocking.
As individual artists, Dr. Jimmy Moore has won numerous guitar competitions in Nashville and Memphis, TN on both the national and international level. Michelle Moore has toured extensively with prominent vocal groups throughout the region. Together, they bring their passion of American music from small stages and concert halls to the Gardens’ Great Lawn.
Instrument Petting Zoo
The Instrument Petting Zoo also begins at 4:30 p.m. Guests can meet Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra musicians and learn about the instruments they play. You can try your hand at a variety of instruments with the help of the musicians on the Olmsted House lawn.
