Fertile Ground Art Exhibit

April 03, 2010  to  May 27, 2010

William Kidd’s wheel-thrown and slab-constructed ceramics have a sculptural and very organic quality. Some remain in their original symmetrical form while others are altered and textured giving the impression that they could have been formed by nature. Many of the thrown symmetrical forms are hand-carved using simple wire loop tools. Other pieces begin on the wheel and are later altered by paddling and hand building.

Free with admission. Open daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
