The Carillons of Canada: An Audio/Visual Presentation

Gordon Slater will serve as the Bok Singing Tower guest carillonneur through April 15 and will host an audio visual presentation, “The Carillons of Canada,” at 11 a.m. in the Visitor Center on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Carillon Classic 5k

May 26, 2012, 7:30 am to 9:30 am

This inaugural event will be hosted by the Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, in which proceeds will benefit its educational and professional initiatives, as well as the George W. Harris, Jr. Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter. Participants will enjoy a gorgeous route (with carillon music playing from the tower), a dri-fit t-shirt and post-race refreshments! All participants and spectators will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Gardens after the race for FREE! The top three winners from standard age divisions will receive a trophy.

Concert Under the Stars

Bring your family and a picnic to spend an enchanted moonlit evening on the Great Lawn with acoustic jazz performances by Solas with opening act by Frank Vignola Quintet beginning at 6 p.m
